Hey, I’m Dawn.
Around this corner of the House, we talk paper: issues to flip through, posters to hang, cards to keep. I’ll share their stories and the little details you might miss.
First up: the Issue #1 poster. Yes, the one where I’m asleep. A very professional debut.
It accompanies our first issue, WAKE YOUR OWN MIND. That’s Hellias on the cover, orange glasses and all, beside a helmet on the bed. Here, we’re taking that atmosphere onto your walls.
Quiet Room. Loud Mind.
Pillows, a duvet, my head resting against SVO. You almost want to lower your voice.
Then your eyes drift upwards: orange light branches across the poster. Everything looks peaceful, but there’s plenty going on up there.
We share a pillow. Apparently, the power supply too.
WAKE YOUR OWN MIND
Those words glow on the visor, right in the middle of a sleeping scene.
To me, they’re an invitation to make room for strange ideas, images that linger and things we can’t quite put into words yet. Even in a quiet moment, something can begin.
I’m still finishing my nap, though.
Look a Little Closer.
The cream background looks like it’s lived a little. The fabrics are full of fine lines. That acid-green strip brings a bit of the street indoors.
It reminds me of a comic page turned gig poster. The kind of image you keep for years, always finding another detail.
Give It a Wall.
The poster comes in A1 (59.4 × 84.1 cm) and A2 (42 × 59.4 cm). You find the spot. It brings the electricity.
You walk past a poster every day. Then one evening, a phrase, a colour or an expression makes you stop.
You might see a dream, a refuge or a mind that refuses to switch off.
I see somewhere I can close my eyes.
See you in the Print Room.
