Hey, it’s Dawn.
Welcome back to the Print Room. Today’s book is ISSUE #2 — THE STUDIO SINGS, our 60-page paperback edition.
After the strange night of Issue #1, we’re heading inside the House. There’s coffee on the table, news on the television, and a small red visitor floating through the morning.
I didn’t sleep particularly well. RØBY seems fine. Naturally.
A Little Noise Between the Pages.
This issue spends a day with us: I’m at the drums, Hellias brings the bass, and SVO and Nora have a rather noisy helmet to investigate in the studio.
Between rehearsals, there’s work to finish, shopping to do and a skate session to squeeze in. Hellias even has ironing. Yes, we kept that in the book.
I like those little moments. Turn a page and you can go from a musical exchange to a very serious disagreement with a shirt.
The warm rooms, blue holographic light and bursts of sound give this issue its own rhythm. Take your time with the panels. There’s plenty happening around the main conversation.
A Few Extras for Your Shelf.
The paperback also includes Nora’s Field Notes, where she introduces RØBY#1, plus blueprint-style robot sheets and SVO’s working notes. A few extra pages for anyone who likes looking under the red shell.
Windy and Ched drop in too. I suggest letting your coffee cool before joining them.
And when the day seems ready to settle down, the House still has something up its sleeve. I’ll leave that page for you.
